Hints on pronunciation for foreigners

This is a poem about the English Language. It tells us about the difficult pronounciation of words and states that it can be a student's nightmare. It states that English is a funny language. Then the poet has written some rhyming words, hiccough, thorough, laugh and through. Then the poet appreciates us that we have done a good work by understanding these words.

After that we come to know about some of the familiar traps, heard, looks like beard but sounds like bird, and dead which sounds like bed not bead. So be careful and don't call it deed. Then it states some more confusing words and their pronounciation.

A good poem in my opinion, but very confusing. Tricky words chosen by the poet.
